1、 Cold winding method: the diameter of spring wire D ≤ 8mm is wound by cold winding method. The machine element spring in cold state is usually cold drawn and pre heat-treated high-quality carbon spring steel wire. After winding, the medium temperature spring steel wire is not quenched, and only needs low temperature tempering to eliminate the internal stress during winding
2、 Hot rolling method: the machine element spring with larger diameter (d > 8mm) is wound by hot rolling method. The machine element spring rolled in hot state must be quenched after winding
